Why we’re building
We’rebuildingaplaceourchurchcancallhomeforgenerations.
A place to worship and pray. A place for camps, retreats, conferences, and time together. A place where kids will grow up, families will make memories, friendships will deepen, and lives will be changed.
For twenty years, rented facilities helped make a lot of that possible, and we’re grateful for it. Now we get to build a permanent home of our own, made for our church, with room to grow and serve for generations.

Answers to the questions we hear most.
Renting has given us a lot of good years and good memories, and we're thankful for that. But it only gets you so far. You don't pick the dates, you can't grow past what someone else's property allows, and you can't invite other churches to use a place that isn't yours. Owning Vernonia means we finally have somewhere built for us, with room to grow into and something we get to pass down to our kids and grandkids. This was never really about the rent money. It's about giving our church a real home.
